Just be flooded the site of first impact.Almost no trace left of what just traumatic has experienced. 
But the skies were angry again, and bang, another impact in the same target.
Luckily it was not so great and makes it disappear quickly filling the crater with a mass, as lava, or as I suspect, water, caused by the heat comes from below, and freezes again.
It may be a mixture of powder and water, is transformed into cement, and hardens like concrete.
