Suzuki Swift Sport “N’Style Rally” Edition

Suzuki of Germany is no stranger to special edition models. Their latest creation is based on the Swift Sport and it pays a tribute to the Japanese carmaker’s “Group N” Junior Championship Rally car – hence the name “N’Style Rally”. Available in a limited run of 500 units at €17,900 a piece, the Swift Sport “N’Style Rally” is offered exclusively in black and is covered with Suzuki Motorsport’s logos and decals, but that’s about all.

There are no mechanical upgrades as the “N’Style Rally” retains the Swift Sport’s 125Hp 1.6-liter engine. Optionally, buyers can equip the “N’Style Rally” with a light bodykit (pictured above) that includes a front lip spoiler, fog-light covers, new side skirts and a rear spoiler. -More pics after the jump

Suzuki Swift Global Production Exceeds 1,000,000 Units

In less than four years after it first entered the market, production of Suzuki’s current generation Swift has surpassed the one million mark. Despite the fact that the Swift’s development was focused on the demands and tastes of the European market in terms of design and driving characteristics, Suzuki’s mini car is a global minicar in outlook and production. The Swift was first built in Japan, followed by Hungary, China, India and more recently Indonesia and Malaysia. Vehicles sold in Europe are built at Suzuki’s plant in Hungary which has so far pushed out more than 306,000 units.

Suzuki Swift “Black and White” Special Editions

Available in the German market from June 2008, the Suzuki Swift “Black and White” is a special edition model with a limited run of 1,200 units. As its name suggests, the limited version of the Swift 1.3 will be offered exclusively in two special metallic colors – pearl black and pearl white.

The vehicle’s standard equipment includes among other things, new 16-inch, 7-spoke alloy wheels in 195/45 R15 tires, “Black and White” special decals on the outside and matching mats on the inside along with a Clarion DVD/Navigation system with a large 6.9-inch color screen and a 30 GB hard drive. Optionally, Suzuki also offers a subtle bodykit that's pictured in the black Swift. Prices in Germany start from 16,900 euros. -Continued

Suzuki is offering UK drivers a cost-effective way to get a taste of rallying by launching its Swift Sport Cup series on Thursday 3rd April at the BRC’s 50th Anniversary event which is being held at Chatsworth, Derbyshire. Based on the Swift Sport, the Cup edition is built by the works Monster Sport Europe team and it’s powered by a 1.6-liter VVT engine delivering 123 Hp. Suzuki GB Motorsport Manager Ian Robinson said: “We have worked hard to create a series which will be ultra-competitive as well as cost-effective, a balance rarely found in motorsport. We are confident that we have done that and are looking forward to the first round on April 18th.”

“Suzuki have been great supporters of the BRC,” comments British Rally Championship Manager Mark Taylor. “They have been providing a ladder for talent over the past few years. The innovative way that the cars are available means that people who may never have been able to compete at this level now can, it’s a great starter package that can only be good for unveiling the great talent we have in British rallying.”

HKS Presents Carbon-Fibre Aero Kit for Suzuki Swift Sport

Suzuki’s latest generation Swift is one of our favourite mini cars; it’s reliable and well built, it’s nice on the road and it looks nearly as good as a MINI (….) without costing an arm and a leg. The top-of-the-line Sport version with its perky 125 Hp 1.6-liter is even better adding a dose of sportiness to the mixture. While we wouldn’t have minded a few more horses under the hood, HKS’ offering for the Swift Sport which was redesigned for the Japanese market last year (see here), concentrates on appearance and handling.

The Japanese tuner’s aero kit includes mirror caps, front and rear lip, roof spoiler, hood with an aero scoop and a rear door spoiler all of which are made out of carbon-fibre. The Swift’s exterior looks are complemented by a set of 18-inch Advan RC-III alloys wrapped in Yokohama tires (215/35 R18). Additionally, HKS offers buyers the option of suspension, brake and chassis upgrades. –More pics after the jump

Suzuki Swift Print Ad - "Swift: More Fun"

This print ad is the work of the Danish advertising agency, “Robert/Boisen & Likeminded” which is based in the city of Copenhagen. The advert utilizes a set of roll-coaster style protective bars to accentuate the Japanese mini’s youthful character. In our humble opinion, the ad would have been better targeted if the Danish agency had used the Suzuki Swift Sport with the bucket seats instead of the basic model, which to be honest, isn't what we'd call fun.

Suzuki Swift Sport Online Game

This post is addressed to all you “office-space” (what a movie) type employees. If you belong to that category, needless to say, when it comes to playing online games in the office, the stupider the game, the more addictive it gets. All you need is a couple of colleagues to start bragging about their top scores and who cares about deadlines. In this particular game, courtesy of Suzuki Germany, you get the chance to race around with a Swift Sport 1.6 on a mini dirt track. We suggest you practice a bit tonight before you start sharing it with others. To play the game, visit www.suzuki-swift.de, pass the intro and then click “Games & Fun” on the right.

Suzuki Swift by Giacuzzo Design

German tuner Giacuzzo is offering a new optics package for the popular Suzuki Swift. The bodykit consists of a front spoiler, a rear apron, a rear wing and side sills. Buyers can also opt for a set of 17-inch alloy rims which can be combined with lower suspension settings (-35mm or 1.4-inches) for a better result. According to Giacuzzo, the front spoiler lip costs 239; the side sills 335; the tail apron 225; the lower suspension settings 169 and finally the 17-inch alloy wheels 1,399. That all comes up to a total sum of €2,367 which translate to $3,344. -More images after the jump
